Letter to Neighbor Regarding the Three Bright Lights Outside my Bathroom Window

There are three bright lights
polluting the night sky
outside my bathroom window

and I’ve had enough.

Could I piss in peace
if the mist of sky
could feel some release
to not be cauterized?

This has gone too far
let the air breathe.
This has gone too far
I do not need to see.

To see clearly is a
curse, laying grass
and heat head-first
in a hurry. So
wouldn’t it be nice
to turn off the
three bathroom lights
and make believe a
beach, outside your
bathroom’s scene?

Wash your thoughts
down the sink
(with some soap)
and please,
rethink.

The blood of your
mother, is in your
hands, so lend your
mind, illuminate your
soul, and turn your
three Goddamn lights off,
please.
